Are we so apathetic? So irresponsible?

India is choking with toxic air; our soldiers facing bullets at border areas and giving their lives protecting ours; villagers near borders areas in umimaginable plight. We still have to celebrate Dewali with fire crackers. All in name of culture, tradition, etc!!  Have we become so apathetic a society indifferent to miseries of our own netizens? What kind of patriots we are?  Why our festivals have to noizy and polluting?  Ponder over.
