Spirit of India: Thank you my fellow Indians for your solidarity on 26/11

Spirit of India has prevailed! Yesterday, on 26/11, the first anniversary of the horrific Mumbai attacks saw expressions of unprecedented solidarity among Indian citizens who came out in different cities across India in remembrance and pay tribute to the victims, to brave sons of this great country who fought terrorists with determination and to those who laid down their lives saving other lives. As a resident of Mumbai, my gratitude extends to all my fellow Indians for joining us, the Mumbaikars, to share our sorrow. Today, we must all together resolve to defeat all forces that threaten to destabilize our country and divide our people on religious, regional and linguistic lines. Today, Let us resolve that Mumbai as much belongs to rest of India as to Maharashtra and Mumbaikars. Keep the spirit and values of the idea of India alive. Let us speak aloud without fear that Mumbai belongs first and foremost to India and all Indians.
